Laura competed at Junior Europeans 98 in St. Petersburg for Spain and placed 14th in the AllAround .

She started very well in 99 with winning the Bronzemedal at Romanian International. She is able to get high score, has a very good potential but has also some troubles with consistensy. Her nerves often are not in control. An example of her potential: In a France-Spain Dual meet she won, she got a 9.875 on floor! She has beaten Andreea Raducan and Maria Olaru in a Spain-Romania Dual meet also.

At Worlds 99 she placed 20th and could reach two spots in the apparatus finals.

At DTB Cup she gave us some answers to follow questions.

When did you started with gymnastics?
When i was six at club Villa Nova in Barcelona.

What's your favourite event?
Floor.

Favourite gymnast?
Lilia Podkopayeva.

What's your proudest achievement?
To get the spots at vault and beam apparatus finals at recent World Championchips.

Do you have a hobby outside of gymnastics?
Music (Pop) and watching TV (news and other important broadcoasting).
