Can you tell us about your given name Rhian, what does it mean?

Does it come from Rhiannon?

No, my mum and dad just liked the name Rhian

What's your nickname?

Rhi

Family Facts:

My Dad's name is: Rob; Mum's name: Tracy; Sister: Ceri [aged 17yrs] Brother: Marcus [aged 13yrs]

Which was the most interesting country you've seen so far ? Why? 

Australia was really good and it had all the different animals e.g. Koala's & Kangaroo's'.

 
Favourite event/apparatus? Why?

Bars ~ It's interesting to work on and it's my best piece.

Favourite gymnast when you started gymnastics?  

Svetlana Khorkina

Gymnasts you admire now? 

Still is Khorkina

Do you have an element or a combination in your gymnastics, which is any special? (Difficult or original) 

My special element: Zucold-Schleudern on bars which is rare


Which element do you hate, but you need it (because it’s a basic skill or has a high start value)? 

I hate: Forward walkovers but I need to do it for my free walkover.
 

About which skill you are dreaming, you are thinking: wow, when I could do  that? 

The Skill I would like to be able to do is a  Double Twisting Yurchenko


You were about 8 years old when the last compulsory routine were competed  at Atlanta Olympics?
Do you saw compulsory routines on tape later?

No, I Haven't seen compulsory routines on tape.

Would you give back compulsory to elite gymnasts if you could decide that?  

No, I  Would not like to go back to compulsory routines for elite gymnasts because I prefer to do my own routines.


Do you have a hobby outside of gymnastics? 

Watching T.V.;Listening to music;Shopping; and walking our 3 dogs.

If you couldn't do gymnastics, which sport would you do? 

Athletics, running or jumping

Is there a person outside of gymnastic (not family) you feel this person did an excellent job in life.(in politics, religion ore somewhat)

This is a person I admire in Gymnastics: Beth Tweedle I think she has done an excellent job with her gym and set a great standard for G.B.
